Intro 01:10
What’s the purpose of having wings if you never try to fly ? What does it mean to have dreams if they’re never realized ? Summer X Time Grow, Fly Away I was walking down the street, saw a flower on the ground I was only seventeen and here’s my story now Summer X Time Grow, Fly Away

I wish some day I could live off my art But for this day to come it’s gonna be hard Should I give it all up and take the risk Of having nothing at all but My Music 7 am, ring the alarm Put an end to your dreams, they were not made to be real But here I am, still in the arms Of Morpheus and it feels just like I’m on some Morphine I need some more sleep so I hit the snooze button But 15 minutes go by just like a second So I hit it a second time as if the alarm Clock full of compassion said « Pay me no mind Take your time, it’s gonna be fine, you just need to relax Close your eyes, your lids are heavy, just let ‘em drop » But as it goes off, this snake knows that if I now go back To sleep I’ll never make it on TIME Just like everyday I gotta leave in a rush No time to shave or I’d miss the bus Just a quick shower, put on a shirt and trousers Breakfast is for losers, I’m on my way to work Picture getting paid for doing what I do best Writing a song and then cashing a check Being careless how much rest I’m gonna get Making music all night, I’m not working on the next Day or week or month or year Going on tour like it’s a career I’m not looking to be a millionaire Just a rockstar, a nr 1 billboardaire But I need more air let me out of this office Tell my bosses I had to get out of this non sense Bring me to a studio, let me rec an album Play it on the radio, have it going platinum My lyrics on a booklet, no longer on a post-it My cd in the stores I executive produced it But whatever you do, please don’t wake me up I’m having a dream, don’t you break it up

Summer 04:17
It’s getting lonely and cold in this corner It’s raining cats, raining dogs and the wind blows I’m no curser but I rehearse all my mother… People look at me like I’m some kind of mental Everything keeps on falling like snow in winter It’s gonna get better soon‘s what I’ve been told Accumulating to a massive count of meters I need some action, satisfaction, I can get no To sum up, Summer, you’re the one I want Dear Summer, you’re the center of my universe To a certain point I can’t even front You’re gonna kill me first, yeah you’re gonna kill me first I need some Summer, I need some Summer to breathe Why don’t you come up? Why don’t you come up to me? Let the sun up, let the sun up to bleed its ray of lights on us To sum up, Summer, you’re the one I want Dear Summer, you’re the center of my universe To a certain point I can’t even front You’re gonna kill me first To sum up, Summer, you’re the one I want Dear Summer, you’re the center of my universe To a certain point I can’t even front You’re gonna kill me first, yeah you’re gonna kill me first I need some Summer, I need some Summer to breathe Why don’t you come up? Why don’t you come up to me? Let the sun up, let the sun up to bleed its ray of lights on us I need some Summer, I need some Summer to breathe Why don’t you come up? Why don’t you come up to me? Let the sun up, let the sun up to bleed its ray of lights on us

I'm into dark, I be looking for light, I see Nothing but black like dark knight, lacking the ability to find a way out of this mockery I'm laughing hard like the limelight was reaching me but still there is nothing to be found but darkness around me, pitch black no sound to be heard, not 1 fly not 1 bird, I'm trying to reach out My mind be playing tricks on me like I'm fixed on D, need a Detox Voices in my head speak the language of the dead like a ghost was trying to beatbox Is it a mirage? I mean I feel the heat rising to 100 Farenheit up to 136 degrees Sahara like I'm all alone in a state of seclusion, illusion, desert like Might be my last but if life’s a meal, gotta find out what's the dessert like Yeah, what is it like, Is there a light at the end of the tunnel What is it people see when they walk in darkness Is their life flashing before their eyes with a feeling of love in abundance before they dwell in the land of the shadow of death I'm at a crossroads, don't know which way to go Is it left, is it right, is it I don't know Somewhere nice, somewhere dark, somehow terrible / beautiful Somewhere hotter, somewhere colder, above or below On your mark, get set, go! They try to tell you to set goals I guess they never crossed the roads I am crossing now I’m into dark, my red rose turned into black, I let go There is no spark to start me back, I am out of town But still a part of me is here holding on to the last bit of fear I’ve got Breaking mirrors, Reflection’s blurry, Holy Mary, I’m buried alive! Carry the night, marry the blind, heavenly divine, a hell of a ride I screamed and shouted my lungs out, strung out, I’m gone now, nobody replied Looking for my way back but is it too late now, the night is dark the sun won’t rise Destiny decided, tried to fight it, the choice wasn’t mine My demise in my eyes, I realize this is the end My friend, I beg for your forgiveness, will you hold my hand Yeah, please hold it tight, is there a light at the end of the tunnel What is it people see when they walk in darkness Is their life flashing before their eyes with a feeling of love in abundance Before they dwell in the land of the shadow of death I'm at a crossroads, don't know which way to go Is it left, is it right, is it I don't know Somewhere nice, somewhere dark, somehow terrible / beautiful Somewhere hotter, somewhere colder, above or below Life is nothing but a game Winners, losers, leaders, viewers, those that roll the dice and those that let them dices rolling How can a sane man go insane? Tarot cards, Venus/Mars, illusions take over, my mind is gone, I hear a door slamming Is there a ghost in my house? I hear ‘em say they’re not afraid and mumble I should be ashamed Ashamed of what? Paranoia, flip a coin, Heads I’m alive, Tails I won’t see the morrow

T.I.M.E. 07:20
Who am I? I am Time, I’m just flying by I run your life men, like I put your life on the line I make your life end, and then I just leave you behind I got you asking for more but no I’m sorry it’s TIME I got your life in my hands Making you move like a dance It’s so easy for me to tease you, seize me like a man The enemy or the friend, something you don’t understand Or no longer perceive, believe I got you losing your strength I got your patience exhausted, you’re forced to follow my rules Sometimes, your mind, you just lost it and needed me to be cool Try to ignore me, your life be wasted like out of date food Try to use me to your advantage like a winning tool Yeah you could be winning too but are you willing to? Singing issues, never solving ‘em, involving me when I’m revolving around you like I’m a revolver pointing on you Point of no return, I got you burning inside Who am I? I am Time, I’m just flying by I run your life men, like I put your life on the line I make your life end, and then I just leave you behind I got you asking for more but no I’m sorry it’s TIME I got you feeling frustrated, It’s about me that you make it They say I’m the equivalent to money I say money’s overrated, It’s nothing funny But you should use the fun me, yeah you should use the best of me to make them memories The good old me and tell on me to your good homies With a bag of weed, a pack of beers A glass of your favorite scotch and play that beat loud Yeah turn it up a notch and beat me now, stop comparing me to God You fear me like it’s the end of me I know you call me your best enemy Your worst friend, The Inevitable Master of Everything Blame it all on me, who do you think I am? TiIME! You’re just flying by, you run my life man like you put my life on the line You make my life end and then just leave me behind I’m here asking for more, begging for more… TIME But the clock keeps ticking…

Oooh 04:00
Woke up this morning, I got the feeling nothing can stop me now Got out of bed feeling good in my head, I’m great without a doubt Yesterday I was dead now I’m born again, never felt so alive Alive and well, no words can tell how good it feels, something like Oooh This life wasn’t mine but I kept on lying, might as well have locked me up But now I’m free from my chains, I got a second chance, I’m finally gonna try my luck It doesn’t matter if I fall when trying to reach my goal ‘cause a dream is a dream unless I go make it real I hope you’re with me now ‘cause it feels something like Oooh Come hell or high water, I’m well like no other, don’t bother trying to take me down No black cats or ladders, mirrors or umbrellas are gonna make it turn around No matter the weather, it’s gonna keep getting better, in a happy place forever You can’t take me out of ‘cause it feels something like Oooh Fell asleep tonight with the biggest smile ‘cause I got you by my side I went to hell and back a couple of times but you’re the wings on my back So I can fly higher now, way above the clouds, they say sky’s the limit, there’s no limit to the sky I know you’re with me now and it feels something like Oooh They say what goes around comes around So if I can make one happy tonight I’m down With the idea of saying adios to bulshitism Like it’s a bad religion Personally I found my freedom through the words and rhythm It’s literally brilliant, the cure to deadly venom You’ll find your own way, your own ride to peace, just get on and ride on Ignorance is bliss but I’m no idiot It’s like a mantis trying to stop a chariot Take the hatchet and bury it Replace it with love and then marry it I’m dead serious though, you know I just think we need to smile a little more So show me them teeth if you want an encore Put your hands to the sky if you’re feeling the vibe Put your hands to the sky if you’re feeling alright Put your hands to the sky if you’re feeling alive Put your hands to the ceiling if you got that feeling That you need to get on and move on to something more appealing Put your hands to the sky if you’re feeling the vibe Put your hands to the sky if you’re feeling alright Put your hands to the sky if you’re feeling alive Wave ‘em from side to side

Will you? 03:22
So here’s the deal baby I truly hope you’ll understand I left my job, I had to try and be a music man I know it must sound crazy, immature and insane But I need to do this just as I need you it’s just, losing you isn’t part of the plan ‘cause I know it’s not gonna be that easy, I’m no Yeezy, Dre or Jay-Z But they all started broke with nothing but hope and I’m no lazy bum I’ll make it work believe me And you know the saying, you can do anything If you put your heart into it, my heart belongs to you babe So what am I to do then ? I need both my loves, what if I can’t afford it All I need to know is: Will you still love me when I’m broke ? So here’s the thing baby I’m really sorry don’t be mad But I’ll be out on the road for a couple of months and a couple more could add I know you’re gonna miss me and I’ll miss you the same But I need to do this just as I need you it’s just, losing you isn’t part of the plan ‘cause I know it’s not gonna be that easy, I’m no Yeezy, Dre or Jay-Z Not that many groupies, you’re my one and only so don’t you worry honey we’ll make it work believe me And you know the saying you can do anything If you put your heart into it, my heart belongs to music So what am I to do then ? I need both my loves, what if I can’t afford it All I need to know is: Will you still love me when I’m gone? And you know the saying you can do anything If you put your heart into it, my heart belongs to you babe So what am I to do then ? I need both my loves What if I can’t afford it All I need to know is Will you marry me when I’m home?

Do you! 03:51
Saw the light through the clouds ‘though it’s about to rain Jaw dropping, It will never be the same It’s alright, go fast, jump in trains What’s going to outlast me, is the child the offspring ? Fairytales end very well and they’re all true But there’s more to pass on from me to you I try to love like God above exists There’s not a lot I can trust, so many lies it’s tough but I do Now be the loudest one, be the brightest one, you’re what matters now, do you ! Allow yourself finer times, grow like flowers now, be the artist now, do you ! Wo oh wo oh oh Wo oh wo oh oh Do you ! Wo oh wo oh oh Wo oh wo oh oh Do you ! Now be the loudest one, be the brightest one, you’re what matters now, do you ! Allow yourself finer times, grow like flowers now, be the artist now, do you ! Now be the loudest one, be the brightest one, you’re what matters now, do you ! Allow yourself finer times, grow like flowers now, be the artist now, do you ! Wo oh wo oh oh Wo oh wo oh oh Do you ! Wo oh wo oh oh Wo oh wo oh oh Do you ! Wo oh wo oh oh Wo oh wo oh oh Do you ! Wo oh wo oh oh Wo oh wo oh oh Do you !

Gone Wrong 05:31
He was calling out for help but it seems nobody heard At least not the ones who could have helped him to emerge He was looking for answers but the wrong ones were given He was only a kid but ruined it all in a minute He had it wrong, wrong, wrong Wrong, wrong, wrong He had it wrong, wrong, wrong Wrong, wrong, wrong He commited a crime one could never forgive Even if forgeviness would’ve allowed him to live A life between walls, a life without daylight He wasn’t asking for freedom, only more time to pay back But now he’s gone, gone, gone Gone, gone, gone But now he’s gone, gone, gone Gone, gone, gone All he did was try to help with the time he was given Just trying to repent, praying for people to listen Grew into an adult in a federal state prison Trying to build up a bridge over an uncrossable river They say only God can judge, I guess only God can forgive If this man had what he deserved, then I truly hope he did It seems Justice on this earth is not equally perceived When men feel they have a right to kill more than they have a right to live He’s gone wrong, wrong, wrong Wrong, wrong, wrong He’s gone wrong, wrong, wrong Wrong, wrong, wrong He’s gone wrong, wrong, wrong Wrong, wrong, wrong He’s gone wrong, wrong, wrong Wrong, wrong, wrong
12.
Sweet & Sour 05:47
In the first place, stars seemed to be aligned You wish you could take a trip back in time You don’t know, you don’t know how you got here You don’t know, you don’t know how you got here It’s hard to understand where and when you crossed the line It was all fun and games now you just keep on faking smiles You don’t know, you don’t know how you got here You don’t know, you don’t know how you got here Don’t recognize yourself when looking in the mirror So you break it with your fist and leave to where it’s better You don’t know, you don’t know how you got here You don’t know, you don’t know how you got here Blacked out and woke up somewhere unknown Still it’s the closest thing to what you can call home You don’t know, you don’t know how you got here You don’t know, you don’t know how you got here

The joys of love, we call it LIFE The love of God, we call it LIFE The pain it causes, when men involve Themselves in wars, We call it LIFE The Sky is blue, we call it LIFE The Sea is too, we call it LIFE The grass is green but when it’s greener, We get greedier and call it LIFE A hot Summer, we call it LIFE A cold Winter, we call it LIFE Mother Nature still holds the cards Til we no longer call it LIFE An ill mother, We call it LIFE A gone father, We call it LIFE Let’s get together to love each other And bring another being to LIFE No matter what they teach in tales You’ll only learn from your mistakes School is cool and parents rule Your own learning’s more powerful What you go through, they’ve been there too A million stories don’t make ‘em true The only one that knows is you ‘til you screw up, feel like a fool Fool me once, don’t fool me twice Commit a crime, get away with that How can the wrong thing feel so right ‘til you get caught and pay the price Your future was looking so bright Now it’s so dark you can’t see the light You close your eyes but can’t sleep at night A million sheep won’t change the facts A million dollars won’t buy you health But neither will minimum wage What’s a dollar in the end A piece of paper when the world melts A piece of life, a tree that’s dead ‘cause at the time it did make sense A faster car, a slower dance Stuck in traffic, hit the brakes There’s no magic, make no mistake Only illusion of something great Only air we sell and breathe They’re not the same only one’s unique It’s a thin line actually Between vintage and obsolete Words to live by, words to keep ‘til there’s flowers down the street Have you ever heard about the rose that grew from concrete? Well I want flowers to grow all over the streets I want to tell kids feeling hopeless keep your head up and don’t quit Live for the moment ‘cause these moments will be gone quick Make your memories the best there is and let them trees grow Tell your enemies, get on your knees and let there be hope Let me be who I was intended to become Play a melody, grab a pencil, write a song

about

This debut album is a big step forward for Fabe Gryphin who, willing to give his songs a new dimension, puts production aside to surround himself with pro musicians, going from a solo act to an actual live band.

True to his style, Fabe keeps blending genres on this record by mixing alternative hip hop and pop together with soul and indie rock influences, while the band brings a sweet touch of jazz to the table.

Inspired equally by Kendrick Lamar’s transcending hip hop and by Bon Iver’s emotive Indie folk, there is a sincerity and real introspection that emanates from these songs, which seek to touch the listeners and make them vibe at the same time.

“Street & Flower : Summer X TIME” could be described as the soundtrack of a man’s journey to find his purpose and his path to unleash the artist within.
